Prince Strike Updates
Prince Workers ratified a new four year contract on Saturday June 23rd.

This was a hard fought battle but our 100% solidarity prevailed. I would like to personally thank the members of the negotiating committee and all of my Lodge 1426 Brothers and Sister for standing strong throughout this strike. It was solidarity that put us back to work with a contract. I take great pride in saying I'm your brother. We stood strong throughout this strike but more importantly, we came out of this standing stronger than ever.

I would also like to thank all of our supporters who have donated so much to our fight. Your donations played a vital role in our fight and we do not forget. We will be there when you need us.

As with any fight it takes time to heal the wounds on both sides but we believe in working with Prince management toward a common goal. We look forward to getting back to work and putting out the high quality Prince is known for.

It is the purpose of this page to inform our members and the public of our ongoing strike.   Further, it is the policy of Siouxland Lodge No. 1426, District Lodge No. 6, and the Grand Lodge of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers to promote and engage in only strikes that are non-violent in nature.   While we appreciate and encourage our members and the public to regularly visit this site please do not use it as a conveyance or an excuse for violence or other illegal activity.   Any individual or individuals who engage in violent or other illegal behavior related to this labor dispute do so at their own risk and without knowledge or sanction of the entities listed above.   For those of you who visit this site and support our cause we thank you; for those of you who do not share our views we thank you for visiting this site and giving us the opportunity to educate you.
